Last week Creative Team member Mistra challenged us to use her "water distressing technique" and create a layout using lots of scrunching and generally all things distressing.

 

Isn't Mistra's work just sensational? This second layout uses papers, ric rac and the sweet little key up in the top right corner from our August Mini Kit which you can find here in the shop for GREAT value at just $11.00.

Countdown to Grand Opening

Just 11 sleeps until the BIG day ... it's exciting (and a little nerve wracking) for me but I'm really looking forward to opening the site and shop officially. I have a few things up my sleeve to celebrate the day ... stay tuned here and in the forum for details.

Our Grand Opening Competition being run during July was a bit slow to begin with, but I'm so thrilled to return from our family holiday/road trip to see the gallery starting to fill with gorgeous entries. Thank you so much ladies, keep 'em coming and I hope there will be more people entering and joining the fun. Remember there's a generous $30 shop voucher on offer as well as a few other lovely goodies.

Have you been browsing in the shop yet? I'm slowly but surely getting all the products uploaded so make sure you take time to have a good look around. There will always be something new to take your fancy so do check back regularly. Please remember the shop will be open for trading on Sunday 1st August. Official Welcome ... winners ... competition

WOW already it seems there's lots happening at Red Earth Scrapping today and it's all very exciting since today is the official first day for our site. I cant quite believe it.

So, WELCOME everyone, I sincerely thank you for joining me on this adventure and cant wait to share with you personally and creatively as Red Earth Scrapping grows and develops into one of the best places to be in the cyber-scrapping world!

To kick things off we're having a scrapping competition starting today and running throughout July. You can find all the details here. Major prize will be a $30 voucher to the brand new online store when it opens on 1st August and I'll have a few RAK's up for grabs as well.

Talking about competitions ... at the beginning of June I started a little challenge on our Facebook Group "30 newbies in 30 days" ... well I was totally overwhelmed that we hit the ton after just a few days and today the member count is 121. WOW what an effort, thank you everyone.
